mykepwnage earned achievements in Dark Souls

So after hearing about how difficult this game was, I decided to pick it up and give it a whirl.

Just really started it, and while I definitely understand how the game could get frustrating, it really seems that if you don't rush through you'd be fine. Not sure what humanity does for you, and why you'd want to avoid losing it. The souls though? I think there'd be a mistake in hoarding them! Just get enough to level up, and spend them!

I learned that after deciding to continue pushing on when I had a sliver of health, and no more flask. Got pwned by a flaming barrel coming down some stairs. I had thought about going back to the bonfire, but felt lazy and didn't want to fight my way through all those guys. Had 1300 souls! Lost it them because on the way back to my stain I got eager and rushed into a room of guys I had defeated handily already. Lesson learned, but I ain't even mad :)
